Similar goings on here in Provence, and nice to see you picked one of our local wines - agree that for dining outside on a warm day, it'll go down very nicely. Really enjoy your posts!
I'm partial to Provencal rose as well. If you ever get the chance, try Chateau Paradis. It is the best rose in the South of France in my humble opinion. Not a bad white either. Counting down the days to arrival.
Sounds like a perfect day! I just love picnics and spending time with loved ones outside in nature. Your basket is full of delicious goodies and your pictures are beautiful. Looking forward to coming to Bordeaux and experiencing time in the park having a picnic. ❤️
We lived in the Dordogne and my girls went to university in Bordeaux, so we got to know it pretty well. I really liked the Jardin Public, which was close to their diverse apartments, and enjoyed passing through or sitting and watching the world go by. We never did a picnic though, perhaps on another visit!
I love picnics! I have several baskets that came with melamine plates and plastic wine glasses. It never occurred to me to assemble my own with vintage funds! Our rental was near Jardin Public so we spent a lot of time passing just through en route to a meal out or sitting and watching the world go by. But sadly, we didn’t think of a picnic.
It was our daughter-in-law who discovered les Brocantes in Chartrons (which became our favourite neighbourhood) and bought me a little vase for my birthday.
So enjoy this- I almost feel like I’m there.
I’m so glad ☺️ Truly enjoy weekend afternoons spent in the park.

Thank you so much for reading! Grabbed this one pre-chilled on the way to the park ☺️👌🏻
Your picnic setting is inspiring! Brb booking flight back to Bordeaux for a brocante-ing trip ❤️
Yay! So many places to check out :)
This makes picnicking seem so romantic!
It truly is ☺️
