Bonjour Friends!
Welcome to my little French corner. Iâm an American dreamer turned expat adventurer who traded a house, a car, and a 9-to-5 for a life filled with buttery croissants and French cheese. After purging a bunch of belongings, quitting my job, and diving headfirst into the visa process, I now call Bordeaux, France, home.
Here, I live with my husband, two spirited dogs, and an ever-growing love for Franceâs exquisite cuisine and culture. This space is my love letter to French foodâa celebration of my francophile soul and endless culinary curiosity.
Food has always been one of my greatest passions. From experimenting with new techniques and discovering unique flavors to relishing timeless, comforting recipes, it has become a lifelong journey of learning and exploration.
I grew up in North Carolina, though living in a neighborhood I spent most of my time painting or drawing, playing with dairy cows, riding horses, and growing vegetable gardens. Those early days instilled in me a deep appreciation for fresh ingredients and creative expressionâan appreciation that now fuels my passion for food, art, and travel.
Join me as I share French inspired recipes and stories about life from my French corner of the world. Letâs savor this journey together!
