I don’t have bunny shaped cakes or malted egg cookies to offer you, but I do have delicious made from scratch Spring cake recipes that are perfect for celebrating Easter. My carrot cake is moist, full of flavor, and balanced with a delicious cream cheese frosting. I also have two strawberry cakes, as fresh strawberries have already appeared in France. A classic fluffy vanilla bean cake with light vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, and if you’d rather just have pink frosted cupcakes, well I have those too!
Happy Spring Baking!

Week 3 French Pastry School: Choux, Reverse Lamination, and Macarons
We dove deep into classic French pastry this week, with choux pastry, laminated doughs, sablé cookies, a Gâteau Basque, and shiny meringue for a healthy amount of macarons. The sun decided to join me every morning on my bike ride to school, along with pink cherry blossoms swaying in the river breeze, and a backpack full of freshly ironed white aprons.

Wow Jenn, that Strawberry Almond Cake has my eyes popping out! I'll have to make it as soon as our strawberries here further north get a bit of actual taste to them.
PS I think you mean 2 teaspoons of baking powder...
