My first experience visiting the French Supermarché was filled with butterflies and nervous excitement. Feeling like a kid on my first day of school not knowing where my classes were, who would be my teachers, and if I would embarrass myself completely. My French is still quite elementary, but my confidence in finding my way around a grocery aisle is pretty strong.

Confidence however, is always humbling. Learning through mistakes, trial and error, and embarrassment has somehow become my life’s motto. So, here we go. Excitement overload sent me to the store without my shopping bags. Upon arriving, I immediately turned around walked home and returned more prepared.
