Clafoutis aux Cerises

Late July signals the slow goodbye to cherry season here in Bordeaux. The market stalls and neighborhood fruit stands are still piled high with glossy, deep ruby cherries. But not for much longer. So before they disappear for another year, I'll be baking a few more cherry forward recipes to send them off with a bang.
